California Uniform Public Construction Cost Accounting Act

Central Union High School District participates in the California Uniform Public Construction Cost Accounting Act (CUPCCAA), a program that provides participating public agencies with alternative bidding procedures for certain public works projects. CUPCCAA establishes uniform cost accounting standards and allows eligible public agencies to use alternative contracting methods and informal bidding procedures for qualifying projects within statutory cost limits.

What Does CUPCCAA Mean for Contractors?

CUPCCAA provides opportunities for qualified local contractors to participate in public works projects through an informal bidding process for eligible projects. Contractors interested in receiving notices of upcoming projects may register with the district's informal bidding list.
