Inter/Intra District Transfers

Inter-District Transfer

(Incoming to CUHSD or outgoing from CUHSD)

Petition due date is April 15th for the 2024-25 school year

Petitions received after the due date will be held for further review.

Interdistrict Petitions for returning students are no longer required.  Initial Petitions for siblings will be accepted first.  We encourage all other families to register at your home school in your home district to secure a class schedule for next school year.

 Review Process

1. Applications are date and time stamped then reviewed in the order they are received.

2. New Inter-district (coming from outside CUHSD) are held until staff can determine if there is space to accept new students.  By Board  Policy, this can take up-to the 14th day of instruction of the school year.  We recommend your child register in their home school and attend there until we contact you letting you know there is space in a CUHSD school.
